Lady Elliot Island sits at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef and is reached by light aircraft. Day trips operate from several mainland points including Hervey Bay. We handle the ground leg: accommodation to the airport before the flight, and the return afterwards.
Timing
Reef day flights leave early and the check-in window is tight. Send us the operator's check-in time rather than the flight time, and we will build the pick-up backwards from it with buffer.
Group size
Light aircraft have strict passenger and weight limits, so day-trip groups are typically small. A minibus is usually the right vehicle for the ground leg. Confirm your flight booking first, then the transfer.
On the return
Return times can shift with conditions on the reef. Give us the scheduled return and the operator's contact, and we will plan for the wait rather than leaving your group standing at the terminal.

Can you collect us if we return late?
Yes, if we know the realistic return window. Waiting time may apply and we will tell you before it starts.
