Brisbane and Sunshine Coast transfers

The runs
Hervey Bay to Sunshine Coast is roughly 250 km and about three hours; to Brisbane it is roughly 300 km and about three and a half to four hours before breaks. Both are frequent charter jobs for airports, cruise terminals, conferences and major events.
Fatigue management
Long-haul work falls under Heavy Vehicle National Law fatigue rules, which set maximum work time and minimum rest. In practice that means built-in breaks and, on some itineraries, a second driver. We build it into the quote — a schedule that ignores it is not a schedule, it is a liability.
Airport and cruise terminal
For Brisbane Airport and the Brisbane cruise terminal, send us the flight or sailing details and the check-in cut-off. Disembarkation days in particular are unpredictable, so we plan a realistic window rather than a precise promise.
Return legs
A one-way long-haul transfer still requires the vehicle to return, so a return booking is often better value per leg. We will quote both so you can compare.

Questions about long-haul transfers
Can you do a same-day return to Brisbane?
Often, but it depends on the timings and driver-hour limits. Send us the schedule you want and we will tell you whether it is legal and safe as a single-driver day.
Do you stop on the way?
Yes. Rest breaks are a legal requirement on longer runs, and a comfort stop is sensible anyway. We build them into the timetable.
Which is cheaper, one-way or return?
Often the return, because the vehicle has to come back either way. We quote both.
